Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road Introduces ‘SWARA Clinic’ to Advance Integrated Care for Swallow, Airway and Voice Disorders on World Voice Day

Bengaluru, Apr 16:  Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road today announced the launch of SWARA Clinic – Swallow, Airway & Advanced Voice Care Center, on the occasion of World Voice Day, reinforcing its commitment to delivering patient-centric and specialized care for voice, airway and swallowing disorders. The clinic is designed to cater to patients across all age groups through advanced OPD-based diagnostics, including laryngoscopy with Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), stroboscopy, bronchoscopy and functional endoscopic evaluation of swallowing. The clinic was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest Ms Archana Udupa, renowned vocalist and playback singer, in the presence of leading doctors and Senior Leadership.

SWARA clinic focuses on three key areas:

  • Voice Disorders: Including hoarseness, changes in voice quality, reduced vocal output and difficulty in speaking
  • Airway Disorders: Covers patients with breathing difficulties (e.g. stridor), complications after ventilation, tracheostomy related problems and complex airway narrowing that may require surgical intervention
  • Swallowing Disorders: Addressing swallowing-related issues across all age groups including stroke patients
