ICAI Rolls Out 64th Campus Placement Programme Nationwide for Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants

New Delhi, Mar 25: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has commenced the registration process for its 64th Campus Placement Programme for newly qualified Chartered Accountants. The timelines for registration of participating organisations and candidates have been formally notified through the official placement portal.

As part of its continued efforts to ensure consistency and high standards across all centres, ICAI has introduced a standardised orientation programme. This initiative will provide candidates with an overview of the placement process, insights into career opportunities, employer expectations, interview preparedness, and practical guidance.

The programme has already received a strong response, with numerous reputed companies from diverse sectors registering to participate in the campus drive. Recruitment activities will be conducted across nine major centres—Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. Additionally, placement drives will also be held across 20 smaller centres to ensure broader regional outreach and inclusive participation.

Interview Schedule for Major Centres (April 2026):

  • Mumbai: April 6–10
  • Delhi: April 6–10
  • Bengaluru: April 8–13
  • Chennai: April 9–14
  • Kolkata: April 10–15
  • Hyderabad: April 13–17
  • Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur & smaller centres: As scheduled

To further support candidates, ICAI recently conducted the CA Career Catalyst Programme 2026 from March 15 to 22 in a virtual format. The programme featured domain-specific sessions across taxation, M&A, finance, audit, consulting, and emerging areas such as forensic accounting and GCC/offshore accounting. It also included training on group discussions, HR preparation, mock interviews, and one-on-one mentoring.

The initiative received an encouraging response and is effectively bridging the gap between CA Final results and campus placement opportunities.

ICAI conducts its Campus Placement Programme three times a year, serving as a one-stop platform for organisations to identify and recruit top talent. Companies can review candidate profiles, interact directly, and hire professionals who stand out as “better than the best.”

During the previous (63rd) Campus Placement Programme (2025–26), more than 10,200 job offers were made, with the highest domestic package reaching ₹32.33 lakh per annum.

ICAI encourages all eligible candidates and organisations to actively participate in the upcoming placement cycle.
