Russia, Apr 08: A three-day working meeting of the Moscow Center of the World Association of Nuclear Operators on “Experience with Updating Repair Documentation” concluded at the Novovoronezh NPP. Representatives from JSC Concern Roenergoatom, JSC Atomenergoremont, ANO DPO Rosatom Technical Academy, and several other organizations participated, as well as nuclear power plants from Russia, India, China, Turkey, Armenia, and the Republic of Belarus. The purpose of the meeting was to share experiences and best practices in handling repair documentation at NPPs. Topics included updating repair documentation, improving the efficiency of developing process documentation, and optimizing the storage and issuance of repair documentation.
“The high-quality preparation and application of repair documentation is a key issue in equipment repair. To address this issue, several measures have been implemented at the Moscow Center nuclear power plants. For example, inspections of repair personnel’s workstations have been introduced, feedback sheets are used to adjust documentation after equipment repairs, and a special guide has been developed for the use of repair documentation during repair preparation and execution. At WANO-MC working meetings, specialists exchange this information and share positive experiences to implement best practices at both Russian and international NPPs,” said WANO-MC Advisor Sergey Lesin
“The topic was very relevant and useful; it helped me clarify several work-related issues. Such meetings play an important role in the development of the professional community. They enhance the competencies of specialists and strengthen international cooperation in the field of NPP operations,” said Elena Goncharova, a member of the WANO youth movement at the Novovoronezh NPP.
