New Delhi, Mar 31: IMS Design and Innovation Academy (IMS DIA), under the IMS Group of Institutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Medusa Fashion House to launch a first-of-its-kind industry-integrated diploma program designed to provide aspiring designers with global exposure, including an opportunity to showcase their work at London Fashion Week.
The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry experience by enabling participants to conceptualize, develop, and present their own fashion collections on an international runway platform. The program is structured to equip students with both creative and business capabilities required to build and position fashion brands in a global market.
With a duration of three months and a limited cohort size, the diploma is designed as an intensive, outcome-driven learning experience with multiple intakes throughout the year. The curriculum focuses on key areas such as fashion collection development, brand creation and positioning, runway presentation, styling, and understanding the global fashion ecosystem.
Participants will gain access to a comprehensive international platform, including professional runway presentation, international photography and videography, media exposure, and interaction with global fashion stakeholders. The program ensures that students graduate not only with a strong portfolio but also with tangible global visibility.
Speaking on the collaboration, Mr. Chirag Gupta, Vice President, IMS Group of Institutions, said, “At IMS DIA, we believe design education must evolve beyond classrooms into global platforms. This collaboration with Medusa enables our students to not just learn fashion, but to experience it at an international level. London Fashion Week exposure is a transformative opportunity that aligns with our vision of building globally competitive designers.”Ms. Sonal Jindal, Founder, Medusa Fashion House, added, “We are excited to collaborate with IMS DIA to create pathways for emerging designers to showcase their talent on international runways. This initiative is focused on empowering creative individuals to build their own identity in the global fashion industry.”
The partnership reflects IMS DIA’s broader approach to reimagining design education through industry integration, global exposure, and entrepreneurial learning. The diploma is expected to attract aspiring designers, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals looking to launch their own fashion labels and gain international recognition.
