Love for All, Hatred for None: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC)

The founder of Islam, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), gave this beautiful teaching: “Whatever you like for yourself, like the same for others.” Islam not only encourages Muslims to share in the grief and suffering of their companions and neighbours, but also advises them to include others in their moments of joy. By following this teaching, a person can establish justice and fairness in the world.

Inspired by this noble principle, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community organises Eid Milan gatherings across India. These events celebrate the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr by bringing together dignitaries, important personalities, friends, and neighbours, regardless of religion or community.

After completing the fasts of Ramadan, a Muslim celebrates Eid with joy and expresses gratitude and praise to Allah Almighty. A true Muslim finds happiness on Eid because, through the fasts of Ramadan, they attain nearness to Allah, resolve to abstain from spiritual and moral weaknesses, and learn the lesson of compassion for the poor and sympathy for God’s creation.

The fundamental purpose of the establishment of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is to strengthen the bond between human beings and God Almighty, and to instil a spirit of love, affection, and brotherhood among people. It was for this very mission that the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (peace be upon him), appeared. To fulfil this mission, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community continues to work for the welfare of humanity across the world under the slogan “Love for All, Hatred for None.”

India is a country where people of different religions and cultures live together in love and harmony, sharing in each other’s joys and sorrows. Events like Eid Milan foster brotherhood, strengthen the bonds of love and friendship among neighbours, and lay a strong foundation for unity among different cultures.

Today, the world is rapidly moving toward unrest and destruction. To prevent such a catastrophe, we must turn to God Almighty and establish the highest standards of justice and fairness. However, this can only be achieved when every person desires for others what they desire for themselves.
