Handmade Cards, Chocolates and a Beautiful Bouquet Made My Day, Says Manish Wadhwa

Mumbai, June 23: Sony SAB’s Hastinapur Ke Veer captivates audiences with its portrayal of the formative years of the Pandavas and Kauravas. While on screen, Bhishma Pitamah serves as a guiding force and protector for the young princes, off-screen too actor Manish Wadhwa shares a warm and affectionate bond with the young cast who often look up to him as a mentor and father figure.

Adding a special touch to the Father’s Day celebrations, the children planned a heartfelt surprise for the veteran actor, presenting him with handmade cards, chocolates and a beautiful bouquet. The thoughtful gesture left Manish pleasantly surprised and deeply touched. Over the course of the shoot, Manish has formed a deep bond with the young cast, who often look up to him for guidance and affection. So much so that many of them fondly call him “Pitamah” even when the cameras are not rolling. Whether it’s helping them with scenes, sharing stories between takes or simply making them laugh, Manish has a cherished presence on set.

Sharing his feelings on the surprise, Manish Wadhwa said,

“It was such a sweet surprise from the kids and it truly made my day. They gave me handmade cards, chocolates and flowers and the love behind those gestures made them even more special. These children are incredibly talented, sincere, and full of positive energy. We spend a lot of time together on set, whether it’s rehearsing, shooting, or simply having fun between takes so over time we’ve built a very warm bond. Many of them call me Pitamah or Dadu off-screen, which always brings a smile to my face. It is always wonderful to have these amazing kids around and I feel very fortunate to share this journey with them. God bless them all.”
