Sep 30: Set amidst the wild landscapes of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, the Corbett Literature Festival debuts with its inaugural edition from 6–8 October 2026. Conceptualized as an exclusive residential festival, it brings wildlife literature and conservation conversations into a destination known for its wilderness. With the theme "3 Days in the Wild", the festival honours India's rich natural heritage and the writers, photographers, and conservationists who continue to shape the country's wildlife narrative.

This year's edition opens with a historic moment: the inaugural Corbett Literature Festival will gather over 30 leading voices, including Namita Gokhale, Dr. Shekhar Pathak, Stephen Alter, and Anup Sah, alongside renowned conservationists such as Sanjay Gubbi and Dhritiman Mukherjee.
The three-day festival features:
- Rare multi-generational gathering of authors and naturalists including Namita Gokhale, Dr. Shekhar Pathak, Stephen Alter, and Anup Sah.
- Day-wise thematic sessions: Memory & Landscape, Conservation & Coexistence, and Ecology & Tourism.
- Evening conversations with iconic conservationists and photographers including Sanjay Gubbi, Nirmal Ghosh, and Dhritiman Mukherjee.
- Masterclasses led by wildlife photographers and filmmakers.
- Guided nature walks exploring the birds, trees, and wildlife of the Corbett landscape. - Cultural evenings showcasing Uttarakhand's music, food, and storytelling traditions. - Grand finale with a closing literary dinner and poetry session featuring Prerna Singh Bindra, Janhavi Prasada, and Akshay Shah.
