Hyderabad, Sept 08: To commemorate World Physiotherapy Day, the Department of Rehabilitation at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad, in collaboration with Asian Transcare Rehabilitation Centre, successfully organized an intensive, intensive one-day national-level workshop titled "STRIDE & STAMINA: Gait Analysis & Aerobic Testing in Physiotherapy." The event drew an overwhelming response, gathering over 100 leading physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists from across the region to bridge critical knowledge gaps in advanced human movement science and cardiopulmonary mechanics.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sudhindra Vooturi, Director of the Center for Rehabilitation elaborated that the workshop focused extensively on integrating cutting-edge technical clinical protocols: combining precise musculoskeletal gait analysis with direct cardiopulmonary functional metrics.

The intensive hands-on program was split into two robust technical tracks. The morning session, centered on advanced aerobic capacity assessment, whereas the afternoon session transitioned into advanced biomechanics utilizing the state-of-the-art Gait Lab. The absolute highlights of the day were the real-time live clinical demonstrations mapping pathological walking profiles, specifically looking at complex gait challenges secondary to Stroke and Parkinson's disease, alongside advanced 2D markerless video tracking and 3D kinematics integration.

Dr. Sunil Reddy (PT), Unit Head of Asian Transcare Rehabilitation; highlighted that introducing objective biofeedback reporting systems fundamentally elevates modern clinical management precision. This allows specialists to move beyond subjective observation toward evidence-based targeted rehabilitation pathways that improve global patient mobility.

The professional gathering was addressed by Dr. B.
