Thrissur, Sep 24: Dr Partap Chauhan, world-renowned Ayurvedacharya and Founder of Jiva Ayurveda, has been conferred the Krishnayanam Guru Smrithi Puraskar, recognising his contributions, visionary leadership, and entrepreneurial excellence in the field of Ayurveda.

The award was presented on 23 September 2026 at PNNM Ayurveda Medical College, Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur, Kerala. Instituted in honour of Padma Shri Dr P. R. Krishnakumar, the award recognises visionary leaders who have made significant contributions to Ayurveda through research, innovative practices, and entrepreneurial excellence.

The honour was presented by the Krishnayanam Organizing Committee, in association with PNNM Ayurveda Medical College, functioning under the aegis of Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamsthanam Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, Karnataka.

The recognition acknowledges Dr Chauhan’s efforts to make authentic and personalised Ayurvedic care more accessible. Over the years, he has worked extensively across clinical practice, education, research, and public awareness.

Receiving the honour, Dr Partap Chauhan said,
