Bringing this old-world tradition back to life with a contemporary twist, Sony MAX has introduced “PEDDI KA ELAN,” an on-ground promotional activity designed to build excitement for the World Television Premiere of PEDDI on 24th October at 8 PM.

 

Inspired by the film’s central themes of struggle, persistence and the determination to earn recognition the activity sees a cyclist, reminiscent of the world PEDDI comes from, travelling through select locations across Mumbai while making dramatic public announcements about the story of a man who refuses to give up. From Shivaji Park to the neighbourhoods and everyday gathering spots that give Mumbai its distinctive character, “PEDDI KA ELAN” brings the film’s spirit directly to the city, building anticipation for audiences to experience the story on television.

 

 

“PEDDI is a story of one man’s unwavering resolve to win recognition and dignity for his community, against all odds. The film has a strong rural setting, and we wanted to bring a little bit of that world to life through our promotional campaign. The traditional munadi felt like a natural fit, giving us a distinctive way to announce the film’s World Television Premiere. With ‘Peddi ka Elan’ we are taking the announcements to the streets of Mumbai, giving audiences a flavour of the film and building excitement for its premiere on Sony MAX.”
