Mumbai, 15th October 2026: Rani KoHEnur is putting music at the centre of the next chapter of her career through a new co-management partnership with THG India.
Under the new structure, THG India will lead the development of Rani’s music career across A&R, artist development, live music and music-focused commercial opportunities, while Mango Films will continue to represent her across acting and modelling.
The partnership creates dedicated music infrastructure around an artist who has built a career across live performance, recorded music, television, film and entertainment — but whose ambition now is unequivocal: for Rani KoHEnur to be recognised first and foremost for the music.
“Art is art, and art has no gender,” says Rani. “I don’t want my music to be compartmentalised or bracketed as being just for one specific audience or community. My music and my art should transcend the boundaries we set for each other. I want as many people as possible to experience and enjoy it.”
Rani’s credentials as a vocalist already span independent music, mainstream playback and international television. She represented India on the global singing competition Queen of the Universe and made her Bollywood playback debut alongside Sunidhi Chauhan on “Pari Hoon Main” from Thank You For Coming, alongside building a reputation as a dynamic live vocalist across genres, languages and vocal registers.
“I want my legacy to be my music”
The ambition for what comes next extends considerably beyond India.
“I want to be remembered around the world, and I want my legacy to be my music,” Rani says. “I want to put India on the global map with my eclectic artistry and vocal dexterity.”
Her dream list reflects that scale.
Rani names Beyoncé, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga among the artists she would love to perform alongside, while RAYE, Adele and Zara Larsson sit among her dream recording collaborators.
And one ambition goes even further.
“I would love to collaborate with Shakira on an entire album, where we amalgamate each other’s styles and cultures into the music,” Rani says.
With THG India, the next phase will focus on building original repertoire, creating the right collaborations, developing Rani’s live music proposition and opening new international pathways around the project.
For Rani, choosing the team behind that next phase was something she approached deliberately.
“Music has always been the part of my artistry that I’ve wanted to place at the centre of my career, and I’ve been very intentional about finding the right people to build that next chapter with. I didn’t want to rush that decision — it was important to find a team that understood both the artist I already am and the artist I’m working towards becoming.
“With THG India, there was a shared understanding of the vision from the beginning — creatively, strategically and in terms of where we believe the music can go globally. It feels like the right partnership at the right time, and I’m excited to finally give this part of my career the focus, infrastructure and ambition I’ve always wanted it to have.”
For THG India, the opportunity is not to treat music as an extension of an already established entertainment career, but to build Rani KoHEnur as a recording and live artist in her own right.
Taylor Jones, CEO, The Hello Group, says:
“Rani has the kind of presence you cannot manufacture. There is an incredible amount of fire in her as a performer, but underneath that is a serious musician with the voice, versatility and ambition to build something much bigger globally.
“We’re not looking at music as an extension of what Rani has already achieved elsewhere. We see it as a major artist career in its own right. The opportunity now is to build the repertoire, the live show and the international pathways around that talent with real intent. Rani thinks big, we think big, and I believe there is an enormous amount of road ahead of us.”
The partnership will see THG India work alongside Mango Films as part of the wider management structure around Rani’s career, with each team bringing specialist focus to different areas of her work.
Asked to narrow down exactly what she wants to do next musically, Rani’s answer is perhaps the simplest summary of the ambition behind the partnership:
“I want to do it all. If ‘dream big and make it happen’ were a person, it would definitely be Rani KoHEnur.”
