Halloween Gets Unholy: Tuborg and Forward Bring Hyenah's Masked Afro House Takeover to Mumbai and Bengaluru

EntertainmentK Puspa30 Oct 2026

Mumbai, Bengaluru, Oct 30: This Halloween, Tuborg is teaming up with Forward to present Tuborg Unholy Night, a two-city club takeover that brings electronic music, Halloween cosplay and creative self-expression to the main stage. Masked Afro house act Hyenah headlines both editions: at Waikiki, Mumbai on 31 October 2026, and at Juliet, Bengaluru on 1 November 2026. Joining Hyenah on the decks are Jarryd Nunes, JenZee and Nikhil Shetty in Mumbai, and Nirmohi in Bengaluru.

“Tuborg Unholy Night” brings the global “You Don’t Have To” platform into cultural occasions, encouraging young people to let go of the pressure to conform and show up on their own terms. Dress codes are optional, bedtimes are cancelled and, at Tuborg Unholy Night, you don’t have to hide your demons.

Commenting on the campaign, Partha Jha, Vice President – Marketing, Carlsberg India, said

"At Tuborg, 'You Don't Have To' is about challenging the pressure to fit in, follow the script or live up to expectations that aren't your own. Halloween is one of the few cultural moments where people naturally feel free to express a different side of themselves, making it the perfect expression of our platform."

“Halloween is the one night when a whole room agrees to leave the rulebook at home. With the ‘You Don’t Have To’ idea taking centre stage, “Tuborg Unholy Night” is about giving people the space to show up as themselves, or as someone entirely new, and lose themselves in the music. Hyenah’s masked Afro house takeover is the perfect soundtrack for that, and we’re thrilled to bring it to both Mumbai and Bengaluru with Tuborg alongside some stellar emerging acts,” said Arnab Banerjee, Founder, Forward India.

Guests are invited to put their own spin on the night, whether that means showing up in full costume, embracing an alter ego or simply being themselves. There is no right look, no defined role and no expectation to fit into a mould. Only a room full of people expressing themselves on their own terms through what they wear, how they move and how they connect with the music.

MUMBAI: A NIGHT AT WAIKIKI

The Mumbai edition takes over Waikiki in Andheri on 31 October, with doors opening at 10 PM. Hyenah is joined by Jarryd Nunes, JenZee and Nikhil Shetty for a lineup built to run deep into the night, on Halloween itself.

BENGALURU: AN EARLY START AT JULIET

The party moves to Bengaluru the following day, on 1 November, at Juliet, with doors opening from 5 PM. Hyenah is joined by Nirmohi for an evening that starts earlier and carries the Halloween spirit through the weekend.
