Sep 25: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna will organize its 15th Convocation on 26 September 2026 at the Institute campus. The programme will commence at 10:00 AM.

A total of 140 students will be awarded their degrees during the Convocation. This includes 121 students of PGDM 2024–26, 1 student of PGDM 2023–25, and 18 students of the PGDM– Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development programme.

The Chief Guest of the Convocation will be Hon’ble Shri Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Chairperson, Law Commission of India.

Justice Dinesh Maheshwari was born in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and obtained his law degree from Jodhpur University in 1980. He practiced civil and constitutional law for more than two decades before being appointed as a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court in 2004. He subsequently served as Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court and later as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

The Convocation will recognize students for their outstanding academic and overall performance. Gold Medals for the best scholastic performance will be awarded to meritorious students. The Gold Medal for Best All-Round Performance will also be presented by the Chief Guest.

The Institute will further confer the Meritorious Girls Student Scholarship upon students securing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranks, in recognition of their academic excellence and achievement.

In addition, awards recognizing the Best Faculty and Best Employee will be announced during the Convocation ceremony in appreciation of their significant contribution to the Institute.

CIMP has also achieved 100% placement for the graduating batch, reflecting the Institute’s continued focus on academic excellence, professional development and industry engagement.
