SUROJ Buildcon Unveils Tohfa, A Diwali Digital Film Celebrating The Greatest Gift Of All A Safe Return Home

BusinessK Puspa04 Nov 2026

New Delhi, Nov 04: Ahead of Diwali, SUROJ Buildcon, a trusted EPC partner committed to India’s infrastructure growth, has unveiled its latest digital film titled as ‘Tohfa’.

SUROJ Buildcon Unveils ‘Tohfa’, A Diwali Digital Film Celebrating The Greatest Gift Of All ‘A Safe Return Home’ || Press Release

Conceptualized and scripted by Velocitta India, a brand consulting and communications agency, the film uses emotional storytelling to express the idea that safety goes beyond being a set of rules to follow; it is a daily expression of care and responsibility towards ourselves and the people who matter most to us.

The digital film, titled ‘Tohfa’, by SUROJ Buildcon brings a deeply human perspective to the idea of workplace safety, moving beyond rules and instructions to highlight the small, everyday choices that determine whether someone returns home safely at the end of the day. Set against the warmth and festivities of Diwali, the film explores how, in the rush of everyday life and festive preparations, we often overlook seemingly little things, reassuring ourselves that nothing will happen and that they can always be fixed later.

Through the story of a father who is eager to fulfil his family's Diwali wishes but repeatedly ignores a small safety concern, the film captures how a compassionate intervention by his Safety Officer makes him realise that safety is not just about following rules, but about taking responsibility for the people who wait for him at home. Their heartfelt exchange beautifully redefines the meaning of a gift, reminding us that while we often think of gifts as things we give our loved ones, the greatest gift is our own well-being and the promise of returning home safely. With the poignant message that ‘aapka ghar lautna hi aapke parivaar ke liye sabse bada tohfa hai’, Suroj Buildcon reinforces its commitment to fostering a culture of care and safety, reminding everyone that every safe return home is a gift worth cherishing. The film culminates in the belief that some gifts are not given once. They are carried out every day, by pausing for a moment, thinking once more and looking out for each other.

At the launch of the film, Mr. Sachin Biyani, Managing Director, SUROJ Buildcon expressed,

“At SUROJ Buildcon, we believe that safety is not a rule that is followed at a site, it is a responsibility that is lived every day. Behind every person who works with us is a family that waits for them, and that thought guides the way we work. Diwali is a time when this feeling is felt even more deeply. Our latest digital film ‘Tohfa’ is an expression of that belief. The film reminds us that taking care of ourselves is also a way of taking care of the people we love, and that a moment of caution can protect a lifetime of celebrations. We want every person on our sites, and every person who watches this film, to pause, think once more and make safety a part of everyday life. For us, building is not only about creating structures, it is about ensuring that the people who build them return home safe.”

Mr. Bharat Kulkarni, Founder Director Velocitta India said,

“Most of us know what safety asks of us, yet we often postpone it in small ways because we are in a hurry. We wanted to speak about safety in a way that feels personal and not instructional. ‘The digital film Tohfa’ brings out the idea that the real gift we can give our families is to return to them safely, and that sometimes it takes just one person who cares enough to notice. This is a thought that every viewer can relate to, especially during a festival that is all about being together.”
