Hero MotoCorp and Google TV Join Hands for an Exclusive Festive Experience: “Hero Sang Tyohar Hai Har Kahin”

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has collaborated with Google to roll out the First Google TV sponsorship for Diwali globally, under company’s nationwide festive campaign ‘Hero Sang Tyohar Hai Har Kahin’. Designed specifically for the festive season, the collaboration bridges cultural heritage, art forms of India, and cutting-edge TV operating software to deliver unique cinematic journeys straight to connected homes.

As families gather in living rooms across India to celebrate Diwali, the campaign turns the television home screen into an immersive cultural canvas. The native placement seamlessly integrates Hero MotoCorp’s Motorcycles and Scooters with art forms of India (Madhubani (Mithila) Painting (Bihar), Warli Art (Maharashtra), Gond Art (Madhya Pradesh), Kalamkari (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana) etc.) and curated entertainment hubs.

Blending Culture, Art Forms, and Technology

The campaign is built around two core pillars:

  • Celebration of Indian Art Forms: Moving beyond from standard display advertising, the campaign weaves Indian Art Forms into the Google TV UI. From intricate folk art motifs depicting daily human journeys and camaraderie to heritage archways, festive diyas, and decorative mandalas, the interface pays homage to India’s diverse artistic roots while anchoring them in a modern digital space.
  • Interactive & Curated Content Programming: Anchored natively on the Featured Carousel, Topic Pages, and Enhanced Clusters, the experience engages viewers through gamified discovery. Under the interactive theme “Guess the ride, stream the story”, movie lovers match iconic cinematic moments with Hero’s marquee portfolio: Ride for Family with the Destini 125, Ride for Life with the HF Deluxe, Ride for Adventure with the Xpulse 210, Ride for Love with the Xoom 125 & Ride for Action with the Xtreme 125

"Diwali is a celebration of homecomings, shared moments, and journeys that bring people closer together. With ‘Hero Sang Tyohar Hai Har Kahin,’ our goal was to go beyond conventional brand storytelling and build a culturally resonant touchpoint right at the center of the Indian household—the living room. By blending traditional art forms like Madhubani, Warli, Gond, and Kalamkari into a native, intuitive smart TV experience, we celebrate mobility not just on the road, but through the stories that inspire millions of families during this festive season. Weaved directly into custom content clusters, thematic artwork, and interactive movie discovery, Hero’s product narrative comes alive in an authentic, engaging, and celebratory format." — Aashish Midha, Head of Marketing, Hero MotoCorp

The ‘Hero Sang Tyohar Hai Har Kahin’ experience is live throughout the festive period across all Google TV and Android TV certified devices in India, appearing natively on the Home screen carousel, curated Diwali Celebration shelves, and dedicated entertainment topic hubs.
